Kimberly Barr
Owner & Principal Designer
Hello and welcome! Let me start this off by sharing a little bit about myself so that you have a good idea of what it would be like to work with me. (Hint: We might be best friends.)
I've enjoyed decorating, quality furniture, and fabrics and patterns since I was a child. My grandmother was a decorator and owned an antique store, and my grandfather was an artist and master carpenter who refinished antique furniture as a hobby. Needless to say, I come by this profession honestly.
With a background in Interior Design and a degree from the Art Institute of Philadelphia, I launched Kimberly Barr Interior Design in 2013, bringing years of expertise and a deep passion for creating beautiful and functional spaces. My signature style is all about balancing color, pattern, and texture to craft homes that are as beautiful as they are practical.
As a lover of custom-made furniture, I believe in the power of thoughtfully designed pieces that bring life and personality to every room. Whether it’s through mixing old and new decor or playing with bold colors and patterns, the aim is always to create a cohesive, welcoming space that reflects each client’s personal style.
Outside of the design world I enjoy traveling, hiking, and spending time in nature with my husband and three children.
Every client is different, and I take time to understand your individual needs and style. I'd be honored to help you create your dream home.

“We engaged Kimberly to redesign our new construction pantry and mudroom and she did not disappoint. We wanted a farmhouse design and she nailed it - shiplap, barn door, etc. Kimberly is very easy to work with, provided great visuals and was involved from design phase through project.”
Tiffany Burnett
Assistant Interior Designer
Hi, I am Tiffany Burnett, Assistant Interior Designer at Kimberly Barr Interiors. I have a degree in Interior Architecture from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro.
Having lived right down the street from High Point, NC, the hub of all things home and design, I could not contain my love for residential Interior Design. I have always been inspired by the world of design since I was young and my meticulous eye for detail is one of my super strengths.
When I am not designing, I spend my time with my husband and three children. I love to travel, read, spend time with friends and serve at my local church.
